Southern relining offers a variety of different pipe relining systems. Each system employs patented products with proven reliability.
Brandenburger technology is based on a flexible tube of glass fibre impregnated with a reaction resin. This liner is pulled into place using a winch, then expanded with air pressure. Curing is performed by exposure to a UV light source. The entire curing process is controlled and documented using installed sensors. The liner is suitable for concrete, earthenware and most pipe rehabilitation of stormwater and sewer lines. Circular, oval profiles and box/rectangular culverts are suited to this product. This system can accommodate rehabilitation of pipes 150mm-1600mm.
Nuflow technology uses a two-part epoxy resin with a felt impregnated liner. The epoxy resin liner is placed inside the old pipe, under air pressure the new liner conforms to the existing pipe size and is then cured. The process can reline seamless continual lengths, or specific sections of pipes, including any lateral connections, junctions, boundary traps and floor wastes in any material in any ground condition. Even if sections of the existing pipe are missing our product can reline the section providing a structural conforming liner meeting Australian Standards.
This system can accommodate rehabilitation of pipes from 50mm diameter up.
